Our Style...

We shoot in a natural reportage way, using natural light where we can and flash when it's needed. We aim to blend in while capturing the moments you see as well as the ones you don't. We don't chase you around with a camera, we let the moments happen naturally and are there ready to capture them so that they last forever.

We can’t express how happy we are with the photos Emma & Jimmy produced of our wedding day. From the moment we met them for a chat over breakfast we knew they’d do a great job. They’re easy to get along with and made us feel instantly comfortable. They captured the day perfectly, we’re absolutely over the moon.

A bit about us...

Emma is a freelance photographer working in the areas of food, still life and lifestyle. She has been working in the industry alongside many talented photographers for the last 5 years, learning the ins and outs of the photographic world. Emma is a keen cook and loves scanning cookbooks for new recipes to make, photograph and eat! She loves baking the odd birthday cake for friends, but leaves most of the baking to Jimmy as he does it better!

Jimmy works in feature film production and has worked with various multinational film studios over the past 5 years, including Warner Bros., Disney and Universal. He works mostly in sustainability but also loves to shoot his own work when he can. He has an obsession for film cameras, being outdoors and cooking.

We met in Falmouth whilst both studying for our degrees, I would like to say it was love at first sight but it took abit of persuasion and a few romantic words, Welsh words to be precise. Luckily Emma didn't speak any Welsh so I (Jimmy) managed to disguise some gcse level phrases as poetry and like that had stolen her heart.

We love to travel and love food. This love has taken us across continents and through the doors of thousands of cafes and restaurants, into the lives of welcoming people and left with a new found wonder for the planet we live on. Check out our travel Instagram @theculinarycampers

We now live in East London, within a great community. We love exploring the city but live close enough to escape to the forest at any given opportunity!
